Here are some of the recommendations of the shaikhs who are known for their teaching and adherence to Islam and the Sunnah.
Shaikh Abu Khadeejah Abdul-Wāhid: “Our brothers in Islamabad have embarked upon a project to establish an Islamic Centre that is aimed at inviting the people to the Quran and Sunnah upon the understanding of the early Salaf as well as helping the poor with food, clothing, shelter and education for their children. I know the brothers well, some of whom are students of knowledge connected to the Scholars. I have visited Islamabad, have seen the da’wah efforts and see the huge potential in this Muslim land. I encourage Ahlus-Sunnah everywhere to aid these efforts in Pakistan just as Allah (ﷺ) has said, “And cooperate with one another in righteousness and piety.” I invite you to take your families and visit Pakistan and take a look for yourselves at the potential of this country. Our brothers in Islamabad can help to make arrangements for your trip.”
Shaikh Abu Hafsah Kashiff Khan: “From the greatest blessings of Allah (ﷻ) upon any land is the presence of Ahlus-Sunnah, calling the people to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (ﷺ). From those carrying the weight of this responsibility in Pakistan are my respected brothers at Al-Ikhlaas Trust, Islamabad in Pakistan. I am well-acquainted with some of those involved in da’wah in Pakistan and have known them for two decades or more. I can therefore testify to the soundness of their Creed and Methodology as well as their trustworthiness and truthfulness. I encourage my brothers and sisters worldwide to aid the spread of our da’wah in the Muslim lands generally, and in Pakistan specifically.”
Shaikh Abu ‘Iyād Amjad Rafiq: “Our brothers from Ahl al-Sunnah who have established Al-Ikhlaas Trust in the city of Islamabad are known with sound creed, uprightness and diligence. I encourage Ahl al-Sunnah in all places to aid them in establishing a strong base for daʿwah and also for charity, relief and community education work. The Salafi daʿwah brings genuine rectification to societies by cultivating people upon Tawḥid and Ittibāʿ and also by shielding them from destructive innovations and various forms of extremism which plague Muslim lands. This is a great endeavour whose rewards are tremendous in this life and the next and which can be earned by cooperating with them and supporting them in this project.”
Shaikh Abu Idrees Muhammad Khan: “We praise Allah, the Most High, that He has blessed the land of Pakistan with Ahlus-Sunnah, those who follow the way of the Salaf. And from them are our brothers and their families in Islamabad. They call to the Book and Sunnah, and aid those who are poor and needy. It brings joy to the hearts that these brothers are about to establish an Islamic Centre, a project to help the needy and a bookstore in that beautiful city. So, I join my brothers in encouraging Ahlus-Sunnah everywhere to financially support Al-Ikhlaas Trust.”
