Encouragement to give charity

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy.

Donating to this noble cause couldn’t be easier. You can transfer directly into our registered bank account in Islamabad. If you live in the UK, you can send your donations to the Salafi Bookstore in Birmingham or to Al-Baseerah in Bradford. Let us follow the example of the Prophet in giving.

Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was the best of the people and the bravest of the people and the most generous of the people.” (Al-Bukhari, no.2820)

A man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to give him a flock of sheep that was between two mountains, and so he gave them to him. So when the man returned to his people, he said: “O people, enter into Islam, for by Allah, Muhammad indeed gives with such generosity that he does not fear poverty.” (Muslim, no.5975)

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Indeed, giving charity extinguishes from the people the heat of the graves, and the believer will be shaded on the Day of Resurrection in the shade of his charity.” (At-Tabarāni no.788, declared sound by Al-Albāni Sahīh At-Targhīb wat-Tarhīb, no.873).
